1970's Vohenstrauss (Germany) Porcelain Lidded Vegetable Tureen

Here is a fantastic Bavarian porcelain lidded vegetable tureen made by Vohenstrauss.  It has an incredible curvy, organic shape with a diagonal ridge around the sides emphasised with a brown glaze.  With a handle to each side and an equally brilliant lid - same organic, curvy form as the body of the tureen and also enhanced with the brown glaze.  This is a very decorative piece of retro German porcelain and looks amazing on display.  Marked to the base in green with an illustration of a castle and the words 'VOHENSTRAUSS Johann Sellman BAVARIA GERMANY - Spulmaschinenfest'.  We have two of these for sale separately.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
