1970s Briglin Pottery (London) Owl - ABRIGOWL2
The Briglin Pottery in London W1, famous for their rustic pottery and wax resist glazes, was established in 1948 by Brigitte Appleby (nee Goldschmidt) and Eileen Lewenstein. Dating from the 1970s here is a lovely little Briglin Owl figurine with the typical Briglin rough surface texture and white overglaze. Clearly stamped 'BRIGLIN ENGLAND' to the underside. CONDITION: Great original undamaged condition - with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
