We don't (yet) know which pottery made this delightful piggybank - possibly Surrey Ceramics who made piggybanks in various different styles and colours - although this is just a tentative suggestion at the moment. Whoever made it there's no denying it's a delightful little thing - very unusual in having no legs and sitting on his tummy! Decorated to both sides with a pretty stylised floral design and glazed in an oatmeal coloured glaze so typical of the period. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Height 2.75in/7cm Length 4.75in/12cm Weight 205g CONDITION: Great original undamaged condition - with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
