Dating from 1962 here is a medium serving plate, suitable for a joint of meat or a chicken, in the fabulous 'Pacifico' pattern from Copeland Spode. Made from white alenite, a specially developed flameproof pottery in production only for a short time (introduced in 1960 and discontinued in 1966). This particular pattern 'Pacifico' was introduced in 1962 but didn't appear in the last alenite 1966 catalogue so had an even shorter production run. In absolutely beautiful condition it looks unused and is an extremely fine quality piece of dinnerware. Marked to the base with 'Copeland Spode, England, Pacifico S.3382'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
