1960s/70s 'Taurus' Cube Moneybox - TAURUS-MONEYBOX

£30.00

This is a very pretty little cube shaped moneybox decorated to two opposites sides (the other two sides are plain) with a psychedelic transfer design to represent the astrological sign 'Taurus' and dating from the late 1960s or thereabouts. At the moment we have no firm attribution for this moneybox (it's unmarked to the base) but are currently leaning towards Carlton Ware because of the general look and feel of the piece (Carlton Ware often didn't mark smaller items like moneyboxes and cruets). SIZE: Height 3.25in/8cm Weight 250g

CONDITION: Lovely original condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing and with it's plastic stopper.
