A Swedish design classic - a Bla Eld (Blue Fire) white side plate designed by Hertha Bengtsson in 1949 and manufactured by Rorstrand between 1950 and 1971. It is decorated with a brilliant herringbone type diagonal surface pattern and in a bright white high gloss glaze. Marked to the base with the three crowns and 'Rorstrand Sweden 582' (we have four of these for sale separately, price given is for one plate). SIZE: Diameter 6in/15cm Weight 185g

CONDITION: Fabulous original undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines and minimal surface wear - they look unused.

Scandinavian ceramics from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s is such a diverse subject with so many well established and famous names all playing a big part it’s difficult to sum up succinctly.
