1950s Slovenske Sklarny/Nemsova Glassworks (Czech) Large Vase possibly by Karel Holosko - SKLO-VASEB
Yet another amazing clear glass vase from Czechoslovakia, this time dating from the 1950s and by Slovenske Sklarny/Nemsova glassworks possibly designed by Karel Holosko, this vase was also in production at Rosice from 1965. Extremely thick and heavy, moulded all over with a repeating geometric pattern and with an unusual shaped edge to the rim. It's absolutely brilliant!
Many thanks as always to Marcus Newhall at sklounion.com for his continued and generous help in identification.
