Designed by William Wilson and Harry Dyer for Whitefriars and dating from 1972 here is a fabulous Kingfisher Blue Knobbly Vase, pattern no. 9608. This has to be my favourite Whitefriars glass colour - it's such a vibrant turquoise/blue and being thickly encased in this is a chunky and striking piece of quality retro glass that looks absolutely amazing on display, especially near a light or on a window-sill. It has the Whitefriars trademark ground down pontil to the base. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
