This is a beautiful little vase - very tactile and in a gorgeous shade of smoked glass. From Holmegaard (Denmark) and designed by the legendary Per Lutken this dates from between 1958 and 1960. These vases come in various sizes - this is a small one - and is signed to the base with 'Holmegaard' and Per Lutken's personal monogram, this also bears it's original paper label which reads 'Holmegaard Made in Denmark by Appointment to His Majesty The King of Denmark'.
