This is fabulous - dating from the 1960s or thereabouts here is a deep purple and opal cased glass 'baluster' type vase from Elme Glasbruk (Sweden).  Bright, funky and extremely decorative this sits really well with other brightly coloured retro glass of the same era.  Please see all photographs for alternative images and close-ups.
