Yet another brilliant glass vase from the Sklo Union glassworks, Czechoslovakia, more specifically by Pavel Panek for Hermanova Hut and dating from 1971.  Extremely thick and heavy and moulded with a pattern of chunky knobbles/spikes in relief and with 1 inch (2.5cm) of clear glass to the base - it's an impressively large piece of retro glass.  It has the typical Sklo Union glass footed 'birdbath' base - amazing!  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
