Here is another retro Swedish design classic - a Bla Eld (Blue Fire) teapot designed by Hertha Bengtsson in 1949 and manufactured by Rorstrand between 1950 and 1971.  It has a fabulous retro shape, is decorated with a brilliant herringbone type diagonal surface pattern and in a gorgeous blue high gloss glaze.  Marked to the base with 'Rostrand Sweden 589'.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
