SOLD POTTERY ARCHIVES : British Pottery 2 : Briglin Pottery (London) Mouse Moneybox

SOLD

Here is another fabulous moneybox from Briglin Pottery dating from the 1960's/1970's.  This time it's in the form of a little mouse.with the typical Briglin white smooth glaze over the dark red pottery that they're famous for.  He has cute incised whiskers and a lovely applied curly tail to one side.  Please note that whilst Briglin is sometimes marked or stamped, many pieces aren't - including this, however, it is unmistakeably Briglin and would make a great addition to any moneybox or Briglin pottery collection.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

SIZE:  Height 2.25in/5.5cm    Length 4.5in/11.5cm   Weight 220g
