Dating from the 1950's here is a fabulous deep serving bowl from Stavangerflint (Norway).  In the brilliantly retro and highly collectable pattern, Flamingo, by the legendary Inger Waage, of stylised lemons, onions and fish in blue and yellow in the centre, with black and yellow vertical stripes around the rim and black glazed handles.  This is a fabulous piece of retro Scandinavian tableware that looks amazing on display but is robust enough to be used for it's original purpose.  Fully marked to the base with the Stavangerflint Axe symbol and the words 'Stavangerflint, Norway Flamingo Ildfast 2011/1'.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
