Dating from the 1950's here is a lovely ceramic lidded sugar bowl from Stavangerflint (Norway). In the brilliantly retro and highly collectable pattern, Flamingo, by the legendary Inger Waage, with black and yellow vertical stripes around the rim of the lid and side of the dish itself, the lid also has a spoon hole. This is a fabulous piece of retro Scandinavian pottery that looks amazing on display but is robust enough to be used for it's original purpose. Fully marked to the base with the Stavangerflint Axe symbol and the words 'Stavangerflint, Norway'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
