SOLD These are brilliant and pretty rare - both in terms of shape and, in this case, the pattern. Designed by Vivienne Brennan and made by Carlton Ware and dating from the 1970's or thereabouts here is a bug-eyed owl moneybox in the 'aztec' design transfer print to the front and back. These bug-eyed moneyboxes came in various shapes, frogs for example, and several different patterns - as mentioned earlier, this particular pattern is relatively unusual and highly sought after. Marked to the base with the Carlton Ware script backstamp. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Height 5in/13cm Weight 256g
