SOLD This is wonderful - so 1960s - a salt and pepper set from Carlton Ware in the shape of a top-hatted toff with a monocle and a Mary Quant type red daisy in his buttonhole - his hat is the salt and his head is the pepper! We're not sure at the moment who designed him - it's possibly a Vivienne Brennan design but we've nothing concrete to go on other than the general style so this is a suggestion at the moment and not a positive attribution. Marked to the base of the head with the Carlton Ware script backstamp saying 'Carlton Ware, Made in England, Trademark'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Height 6.25in/16cm Weight 280g (08/30)
