SOLD Dating from between 1966 and 1969 here is a fabulous early Delphis Dish (shape number 3) painted by the highly sought after Poole paintress, Jean Millership (Matthews). With fabulously psychedelic glazes to the surface in a striking colour combination of orangey red, blue and purple - this an extremely decorative piece of retro pottery and was made before Poole started to limit the Delphis range of colours and textured surfaces post 1971. Fully marked to the base with the Poole backstamp, the paintress' monogram and the shape no. 3. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
