1963 Portmeirion 'Totem' Cheese Dome by Susan Williams-Ellis

In a fabulous orangey/brown high gloss glaze and in the famous 'Totem' range designed in 1963 by Susan Williams-Ellis here is a gorgeous cheese dome/lidded dish - although these also came with a wooden base this particular dome has a glazed china base which is fully stamped with a circular backstamp to the underside and also to the inside of the dome with 'PORTMEIRION, TOTEM, SUSAN WILLIAMS-ELLIS, STOKE, MADE IN ENGLAND'.  A must-have for any Portmeirion or retro ceramics collection.
