SOLD

Dating from circa 1954 here is a gorgeous Midwinter bowl in the early 'Riviera' pattern designed by Hugh Casson (this design later became 'Cannes').   It's an incredibly decorative item both in terms of shape and pattern and looks fabulous on display - these are extremely collectable items and in this lovely condition very difficult to come by.  We have other 'Riviera' items for sale separately.  Fully marked to the base with 'Riviera, drawings by Hugh Casson, a genuine hand engraving, permanent acid resisting underglaze colours, made in Staffordshire England by MIDWINTER'.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
