SOLD

This is a highly collectable ceramic tile from the Menagerie series designed by Kenneth Townsend, the brother of Dennis Townsend of Rye and Iden Potteries fame.  With a white ground and decorated with a fabulous stylised pig in brown and black glazes it dates from the 1960s or thereabouts and is fully marked to the reverse.   Please see all photographs for extra views and close-ups.
