From the Briglin Pottery (London) and dating from the 1960s or thereabouts here is a gorgeous mug decorated with a flower pattern to the front and back using the manganese oxide and wax-resist white glaze technique Briglin were famous for. It's very pretty and quite unusual and is marked to the base with 'JV' - the initials of John Virando who worked at Briglin during the 1960s as a thrower. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
