The Briglin Pottery in London W1, famous for their rustic pottery and wax resist glazes, was established in 1948 by Brigitte Appleby (nee Goldschmidt) and Eileen Lewenstein.  Here is an unusual small onion shaped vase with an incised leaf design highlighted with the customary rustic Briglin glazes.  A very tactile little piece.  Stamped with 'BRIGLIN' to the base but partially obscured having been overglazed.

SIZE:  Height 3.5in/9cm    Diameter 4in/10cm   Weight 255g
