As well as being a prolific and highly influential designer for Hornsea Pottery, John Clappison also designed various items for the Coryfo Ceramics Company in Corfu from 1977 to 1980.  Here is what's known as a 'Tipsy Lady' - a two-way goblet that can be used either way up - obviously a smaller tot from the head than from the skirt.  Marked with 'Coryfo Ceramics Company, The Village, Danilia, Corfu, Greece'.  She has the following cheeky motto printed on her skirt:-

'I am a lady who loves to flirt
Turn me over and fill my skirt
Whether your drink's
Beer, spirits or wine
Whatever your pleasure
It's also mine'

SIZE: Height  5.25in/13cm    Weight  275g
