Here is a pair of Hornsea Pottery bon-bon dishes from the mid 1950s slipware range by John Clappison.  With bright yellow and contrasting black glazes these are so typically 1950s and make a striking statement displayed together.  Marked to the bases with the Hornsea Pottery 'horn' backstamp.
