Here is a fabulous Hornsea Pottery vase from the 'Tanglewood' range.  The shapes were designed by the legendary John Clappison and the decoration by Colin Rawson and it was only manufactured for a very short period from 1964 to 1965.  With a very dark ground and incised lines to the lower half, it's an extremely decorative item which would be a worthy addition to any Hornsea or studio pottery collection.  Marked to the base with 'HORNSEA ENGLAND' and the number '981'.   Please click to see all alternative and close-up photos.

SIZE:  Height  11.5in/29cm   Weight  975g
