SOLD More fabulous blue and white hand painted Rye Pottery in the form of a small bowl. This one, unlike all the others for sale above, is NOT impressed with David Sharp's monogram, so was not thrown by him and probably dates to around 1957 just after he had left to set up Cinque Ports Pottery. But it almost certainly was decorated at the same time as the others and is from the same range with a white glazed ground and inner decorated with beautiful hand painted blue stripes to the outside. Stamped to the base with 'MADE IN RYE POTTERY ENGLAND'. A highly collectable piece of retro British studio pottery. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
