Here is an extremely decorative retro West German pottery vase from Carstens (Tonnieshof) dating from the 1960's.  Decorated with a fabulous metallic glaze punctuated with thick, chunky lava glazed bands, it's a seriously funky pot that sits very nicely with other German or Italian pieces (Bay, Scheurich, Bitossi Raymor for example).  Marked to the base with the TC logo of two houses and '5044-25 W-GERMANY' - although the impression is very faint and almost illegible.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
