This is a very unusual and early ES Keramik (West German) pottery handled vase in a bright white glazed ground decorated with patches of black and white lava glaze. It's a seriously funky retro item and a great example of Fat Lava ceramics.  Marked to the base with '843-25' - the form number and the size in centimetres.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
