1960s Roth Keramik (West Germany) Large Fat Lava Glazed Bottle Vase

Dating from the 1960s here is an amazing bubbly and crusty fat lava glazed blue vase from Roth Keramik.  It's marked to the base simply with 'FOREIGN' and the base is also lava glazed - ceramics marked in this way were generally manufactured for the export market.  It's big, bold, extremely heavy, in a vibrant blue colour with the same blue gloss glaze to the inside and finished with with the fattest of fat lava - what a piece!  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
