SOLD Dating from the 1960s or thereabouts here is a very decorative little ceramic vase from the West German ceramics manufacturer, Carstens. For a time Carstens used the Goldscheider factory in Austria to produce some of their items which is why some, like this, are marked with Austria to the base and not West Germany. Glazed with patches of blue and green with a dark lava glaze over the top. Marked to the base with '1273-13 MADE IN AUSTRIA'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
