Dating from the late 1950s or thereabouts here is a fabulous handled dish (to be used for nibbles or bon-bons I suspect - I'm fairly certain it's not a candleholder because there's no recess and the decoration would be obscured by the candle). I think these dishes are fabulous - we have five available in different colours for sale individually - this one has a vibrant green and black design. Impressed to the base with 'Villeroy & Boch Made in Luxembourg' however the impression has been infilled with glaze and is virtually impossible to read on this particular dish but is much clearer on some of the other dishes.
SIZE: Diameter plus handle 5.5in/13.5cm
CONDITION: Great original condition - no chips, cracks or hairlines.
