SOLD This is brilliant - a large vase by the Italian ceramics manufacturer Bertoncello dating from the 1960s or thereabouts. In a curvy and organic shape with a hole to the top for the flower stems and glazed in cream and brown matt glazes it's a striking piece that looks fabulous on display with other retro Italian ceramics and also sits very nicely with the Fat Lava West German ceramics of the same period. A truly iconic piece of retro Italian pottery - unmarked to the base other than the numbers '887'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
