Yet another brilliant vase by the Italian ceramics manufacturer Bertoncello dating from the 1960s or thereabouts. In a cubed shape with two holes right through and a hole to the top for the flower stems, glazed in the customary cream and brown matt glazes - it's a striking piece that looks fabulous on display with other retro Italian ceramics and also sits very nicely with the Fat Lava West German ceramics of the same period. A truly iconic piece of retro Italian pottery - unmarked to the base.
