We don't (yet) know which pottery made this delightful piggybank - possibly Surrey Ceramics who made piggybanks in various different styles and colours - although this is just a tentative suggestion at the moment. Whoever made it there's no denying it's a delightful little thing - very unusual in having no legs and sitting on his tummy! Decorated to both sides with a pretty stylised floral design and glazed in an oatmeal coloured glaze so typical of the period.
