SOLD These are simply stunning! From the famous Finnish ceramic manufacturer, Arabia, and dating from 1971 here is a matching set of two navy blue and white hand painted ceramic lidded pots designed by Hillka-Liisa Ahola. These were probably intended for use on a lady's dressing table to hold small items. One pot is short and round with a dark blue base and a white glazed lid beautifully decorated with a gorgeous paisley type design in various hues of blue and lilac, the other pot is tall with a dark blue lid and the same blue paisley type design all around the base. They're extremely attractive and decorative items and of the quality one would expect from Arabia. Hand painted to the bases with 'Arabia Finland H-L. Ahola/MRR' (to the base of the squat pot) and 'Arabia Finland H-L. Ahola/71' (to the base of the taller pot). Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: (Small pot) Diam. 5in/12.5cm Weight 450g (Tall Pot) Height 7.5in/19cm Weight 560g Combined Weight (both items) 1010g (08/130)
