Dating from the 1950's here is a lovely ceramic soup bowl from Stavangerflint (Norway).  In the brilliantly retro and highly collectable pattern, Bambus, by the legendary Inger Waage, with the stylised pattern of fish and onions in yellow and blue in the centre with black and yellow vertical stripes around the rim of the bowl.  This is a fabulous piece of retro Scandinavian pottery that looks amazing on display but is robust enough to be used for it's original purpose.  Fully marked to the base with the Stavangerflint Axe symbol and the words 'Stavangerflint, Norway'.

SIZE:  Height 2in/5cm   Diameter 7.5in/19cm
