By the quality Danish porcelain manufacturer, Royal Copenhagen, here is a fabulous large Fajance 1973 year mug designed by Gerd Hiort Petersen.  This particular design is one of my favourites and as with all of these Royal Copenhagen date mugs it incorporates the year into the design (see second photograph).  Fully marked to the base with the Royal Copenhagen mark, the artist's monogram and the copper button to the centre.
