Designed by the famous Norwegian designer Grete Prytz Kittelsen (Korsmo) in the 1950's here is a lovely matching set of four Cathrineholm enamelled bowls in the 'Lotus' pattern. In a fabulously vibrant red enamel with the pattern in white around the side - the pattern is larger on the two smaller bowls. The set consists of a large bowl, a slightly smaller bowl and two slightly smaller again but the same size as each other. Fully marked to the base with the circular backstamp which says 'CATHRINEHOLM OF NORWAY' - the backstamp has faded/worn away on two of the bowls but is very clear on the remaining two. These are lovely pieces of retro Scandinavian enamelware which are becoming extremely collectable and highly sought after - especially in this vibrant red colourway. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Diameter: 1 x Large bowl 9.5in/24cm 1 x Medium bowl 7.75in/20cm 2 x Smaller bowls 7in/18cm Combined Weight (approx) 2500g
