Dating from the 1950's here is a fabulous ceramic lidded and handled pan from Stavangerflint (Norway). In the brilliantly retro and highly collectable pattern, Bambus, by the legendary Inger Waage, of stylised lemons, onions and fish in blue and yellow around the lid, black and yellow vertical stripes around the side of the dish itself and black glazing to the top side of the handle. This is a fabulous piece of retro Scandinavian pottery/ovenware that looks amazing on display but is robust enough to be used for it's original purpose. Fully marked to the base with 'Stavangerflint Norway, Flamingo Ildfast 2007/2'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
