This is a fantastic example of retro/vintage Scandinavian ceramics - dating from the 1960's by JIE Gantofta (Sweden) and designed by the legendary Anita Nylund we have a stunning pottery rice container with it's original wooden lid. The container is handpainted around the outside with various scenes in vibrant glazes onto a bright white ground - this is an extremely decorative item that would look fabulous on display on it's own or with other Swedish ceramics of the period - it matches the coffee container with also have for sale.
