This is a very attractive and relatively unusual Royal Worcester/Palissy ceramic storage container. The pattern called 'Bergen' consists of brilliant stylised flowers and leaves in various vibrant colours on a white ground with a green band to the base and still with it's original wooden lid (slightly shabby but perfectly acceptable). This is a reasonably scarce Palissy design and is a very decorative piece of retro kitchenalia - it looks fab on display. Marked to the base in green with 'BERGEN Palissy ENGLAND Est. 1853'.
