1950's Rorstrand (Sweden) Wall-mounted Salt Box by Marianne Westman

Designed in the 1950's by the highly collectable designer Marianne Westman for Rorstrand, one of the leading Swedish ceramic manufacturers, here is a fabulous wall-mounted salt box with a pale grey ground hand painted with blue swirls and the word 'Salt' to the front.  It's an extremely usuable, decorative and collectable piece of retro Scandinavian pottery that would grace any collection.  With a plain back but fully marked to the base with the 'Rorstrand (Sweden)' logo with three crowns  and the designer's initials 'MW'.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
