Dating from 1960 and designed by John Clappison for Hornsea here is the 'Spruce' tapering salt and pepper set in the turquoise and white colourway.  Attractive pieces of retro pottery they look very pretty on display.  Not marked to the base (many Hornsea salt & pepper pots weren't) but still bearing their original rubber stoppers.  Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
