Designed in 1961 by Susan Williams-Ellis this is a fabulous large Portmeirion ceramic storage jar in an early screenprinted design called 'Talisman' which came in three different colourways - this is the blue and cerise version. It has a matching ceramic lid (not the more usual cork) and is fully stamped to the base with an oval backstamp this is a must-have for any Portmeirion or retro ceramics collection.
