Viners 'Studio' 51 Piece Flatware Set by Gerald Benney

The Viners 'Studio' range, and indeed the designs of the late Gerald Benney in general, have become very highly collectable and acquired a cult status over the years.  Dating from the 1960s here we have an original 51 piece set of 'Studio' stainless steel flatware/cutlery (6 place settings of 8 pieces each plus 2 serving spoons and a really sweet cake slice - all items detailed below). 

This design has recently been re-issued by Viners however the markings to the originals and re-issues are different and easily identifiable; this particular set, marked 'Studio' to all pieces except the knives, is an original first issue.  We like this range so much we use a modern re-issued set for everyday - they feel wonderful in the hand and are very stylish indeed.
