Here is a large (and heavy) vase designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi in Italy circa 1960 in the famous Rimini Blu colour combination of blue and turquoise glazes (said to have been inspired by the colours of the mediterranean). This is a really nice piece of retro Italian glazed pottery decorated with an impressed repeating pattern typical of this range, it is unmarked to the base however, as many of these pieces are.
