1960's Cases (Spain) Glazed Studio Pottery Vase
This is, in my opinion, a really lovely piece of retro pottery. At first glance it has a very Italian (Fantoni, Gambone) look about it with the high gloss red and white glazed pattern to the front and the fabulous retro texturing to the brown section on the back. It is in actual fact Spanish, stamped to the base with 'Cases, Hand Made in Spain' - I've not been able to find out anything about the company Cases yet so can't elaborate further. But I'd estimate this dates from the 1960's or thereabouts and is a very striking display piece. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Height 5.5in/14cm Weight 384g CONDITION: Great original condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines, just a little wear to the matt brown glaze on the textured reverse part and base - see photographs.

1960s Carstens Tonnieshof (West Germany) Brown & Orange Vase with Original Label

Here is a large piece of retro West German pottery from Carstens Tonnieshof from the 1960s or thereabouts. In a great retro shape and decorated with brown and orange glazes it's a seriously funky pot that sits very nicely with other German or Italian pieces (Bay, Scheurich, Bitossi Raymor for example). Still bearing it's original foil label and marked to the base with the TC logo of two houses and '7836-25 W-GERMANY'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.

CONDITION: Lovely original condition - no hairlines or chips other than a couple of shallow glaze chips to the rim - shown much magnified in the photographs and reflected in the price.

1970's Findhorn Studios (Scotland) Glazed Stoneware Pot
| | £18.00 | (email for availability) |
The Findhorn Studios in Scotland, established in 1971 and still in production today, are well-known for their beautiful glazed stoneware. This particular piece is extremely elegant yet also charmingly rustic - with it's simple shape and fantastic drippy glazes - a stylish and subtle combination of brown, oatmeal and grey shades. Still bearing it's original Findhorn Studios paper label to the base, I'd suggest this was probably an early piece. This looks lovely on display on it's own but would also be a great addition to any studio pottery collection. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Height 7.5in/19cm Weight 586g CONDITION: Gorgeous original condition - no chips, cracks or hairlines and still bearing it's original paper label to the base.

Large Scheurich (West German) Oatmeal Krug Vase
This is another decorative piece - in a lovely retro shape with a curvy handle to one side and a round bulbous body, this shape known as a Krug vase. With an oatmeal speckled ground and hand painted with large splashy brown leaves and black stems this is quite an unusual piece of West German pottery - we really like this one, it looks fantastic on display. Fully marked to the base with 'Scheurich-KERAMIK W.GERMANY 496-28'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups. SIZE: Height 11in/28cm Weight 1220g CONDITION: Brilliant original condition - no chips, cracks or hairlines.

Dating from the late 1970s or thereabouts it's stamped to the base with their windmill symbol and the words 'LANGLEY, Made in England'. Please see all photographs for alternative views and close-ups.
