1971 Chance Glass Turquoise 'Canterbury' Pattern Round Plate #1 This is from Chance/Pilkington Glass
This type of Chance glass is fabulously funky and is, in our opinion, amongst the best designs that Chance produced during the 1970s - they would have been hugely fashionable at the time. This particular dish is round in shape with a fluted and gilded rim and with their psychedelic flowery 'Canterbury' pattern screenprinted on the reverse in orange - it looks brilliant on display. We think these are great, this is a scarce Chance pattern and a must for any serious retro and/or Chance glass collector.
SIZE: Diameter 9.5in/24cm Weight 355g
CONDITION: In really good original condition with no chips or other damage and very little wear to the gilt edge - there is a small area of scratches (approx. 1in/3cm in length) to the top surface of the plate in one place - this has been reflected in the price.

Designed in 1965 by Rudolf Jurnikl for Rudolfova Hut is this fabulous pair of cube-form candleholders - with the concave circle detail to each side, there's something spacey and futuristic about them. In a nutshell they're really stylish, usable pieces of 1960s Czech glass design.

From mainland Italy here is a very pretty bud vase made from pale blue and opal cased glass with a tall slender clear glass stem and foot. We like this particular one because of it's unusual shape - like a bullrush. A very decorative piece of retro glass at an affordable price!
SIZE: Height 12.25in/32cm Weight 180g
CONDITION: Lovely original condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites.
