Dating from between 1964 and 1976 here is a funky mould-blown uranium glass 'Pala' or ice vase designed by the legendary Helena Tynell for the Riihimaki/Riihimaen glassworks in Finland. These come in various colours and sizes - this one is in uranium glass which glows wickedly under a blacklight (see the last photograph) and is one of the medium sized vases from the series. Here is a set of six very elegant tall aubergine coloured glass hi-ball tumblers. In a fabulous straight cylindrical shape they're extremely good quality glasses made from a vibrant coloured glass. We're estimating these to date from the 1960s or thereabouts - and are not certain which maker to attribute them to but from the look and feel think they're almost certainly Scandinavian - probably Finnish. Dating from between 1968 and 1975 here is a fabulous large 'Kleopatra' jug designed by Tamara Aladin for the Riihimaki Riihimaen Lasi glassworks in Finland. This range comprised of approximately 13 different shapes and sizes in amber, ruby and green glass with clear handles - this is a particularly large example and is one of the largest sizes in the range.
